Zero-Landfill Commitment

THE CHALLENGE
Electronic waste (e-waste) is a growing worldwide problem. With the proliferation of electronics that touch every part of our lives, and the continual updating of electronics, there is a growing need for managing assets to minimize their impact on the earth, air and water.

THE TELTECH GROUP SOLUTION
Part of the Teltech Group’s commitment to responsible asset management is focused on ensuring zero-landfill impact in all we do. Teltech Group is certified as an ISO 140001 entity and practices REUSE/REFURBISH/RECYCLE as a sustainable practice . In our Grand Junction asset management facilities, we have a proven track record of more than 100 million pounds of landfill avoidance.

In addition, when we can refurbish and resale equipment, our team works diligently to do so. This results in our clients being able to recapture and share in the profits asset resale.

Telecom Relay

THE CHALLENGE
A client was seeking a turnkey solution that could provide telecom services in remote areas on a conditional basis.

THE TELTECH GROUP SOLUTION
The engineering team (part of the Genesis Green division) designed an all-in-one turnkey solution. They were tasked with this project for two primary reasons: their ability to customize designs and their in-depth knowledge of skid-based solar solutions. The solution was our Onsite Solar (OSS) systems which have the capability to provide internet services, cellular services, monitoring services and provide power to any location in the world with minimal effort. The OSS unit reduces the costs associated with traditional telecom systems and can be relocated anywhere as often as necessary. In addition, the systems have demonstrated high performance levels and cost savings for our clients.

Bonanza Energy

THE CHALLENGE
Bonanza Energy needed a solution for uninterrupted power at their well heads along with communications and automated operations of the system. An ideal solution would be transportable, so it could be moved from site to site.

THE TELTECH GROUP SOLUTION
We provided Bonanza Energy one of our 600 watt and 1.2 kilowatt OSS systems. The system provides uninterrupted power to separate operations automation systems and communication hardware. The unique skid design comes with two cabinets that are attached directly to the skid, one for hardware and the other for battery back-up.  The non-permanent skid design is ideal for the oil and gas industry, as they can be transported from site to site during site maintenance, repair and throughout their operational life.

After withstanding severe storm conditions and winds greater than 70 mph, our OSS unit remained operational. The site was able to maintain production schedules instead of a forced shut down that would have cost the company, shareholders and stakeholders millions of dollars.

Disaster Recover Support

THE CHALLENGE
In nearly all natural-disaster situations, there is an immediate need for communications. This was particularly true in the hurricane that hit Puerto Rico. The devastation that hit the island caused total outages, and getting support and help to the island was a major logistics challenge.

THE TELTECH GROUP
We were able to contact and work with authorities to provide necessary telecom equipment to the island. This is a 36” Telco Rack ready to be dispatched from our Grand Junction, CO facility. Pieces of equipment, like this one, are utilized to store critical telecommunications routing components. In addition, the Teltech Group worked with another team to provide temporary satellite connections that allowed for wireless communications to and from the island.
